Bradley Swim joined the Secure Community Network (SCN) as the Regional Security Advisor for Indiana in April 2023. SCN is the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America, formed under the auspices of The Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. In his role, Swim provides security consultations, training, and direct response to critical incidents to Jewish Communities across Indiana, as well as maintaining effective, critical partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency management agencies.

Prior to joining SCN, Swim served in the FBI for 25 years as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent. He was a founding member of Pittsburgh FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and worked primarily domestic and international terrorism matters including white supremacy, antigovernment, and environmental violent extremism. He was among the first FBI personnel on the ground at Shanksville, PA site of the United Flight 93 crash on 9/11, conducting collection and evidentiary triage operations before becoming the lead case agent for all 9/11-related leads and evidence control for Pittsburgh. In 2007 he was promoted to supervisor at the National Joint Terrorism Task Force (NJTTF), National Counterterrorism Center. In 2009 he was selected to lead the Joint Terrorism Task Force in Denver, CO, responsible for leading all domestic terrorism investigations, training, and crisis response, as well as leading the Weapons of Mass Destruction Program (WMD), Special Events Preparedness, bomb technician program, the Evidence Response Team, and the training program. He has a master’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Denver and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 282.

Before joining the FBI, Swim graduated from the United States Military Academy with a bachelor’s degree in international political science, obtaining the rank of Captain in the US Army. He has been married to his wife Shannon for over 25 years; they are the parents of one son and two daughters.
