  event is for anyone with a story to tell. We all know the importance of o
 ur personal history\, but often times the thought of writing it down or re
 cording it is prohibitive for many reasons. These are important stories th
 at need to be told\, before they are lost or forgotten.\n\nOur goal is to 
 get together people who are interested to talk about any aspect of the Jew
 ish community over the years--growing up in South Bend or coming to South 
 Bend\, about their synagogue\, their neighborhood\, changes they have obse
 rved\, etc. We can brainstorm about your preferred format (writing your ow
 n story\, interview style\, video recording\, audio recording\, etc.) \n\n
 Gabrielle Robinson is emeritus faculty at IUSB's College of Liberal Arts a
 nd Sciences. She is also the author of the book 'Kurt Simon: Businessman a
 nd Benefactor' and was a contributing writer for many years in the pages o
 f Our Community Newsletter.
