Your Campaign Pledge is not due until December 31 of 2022.
With your gift, you will help families struggling in our community get back on their feet, ensure the vulnerable continue to be cared for, and that younger generations are given the opportunities to connect to our heritage and Jewish communal life.
What does it mean to be here for good?
In a world filled with unprecedented need, our small Federation not only rose to the occasion, but thrived. We were able to do so because of the generous support from community members like you. Please give what you can today, so that Good can continue to grow throughout Michiana now and in the future. For over 75 years, the Federation has been Here For Good. And with your help, we’re not going anywhere.
Here for Support
When the world shut down last year, we mobilized to ensure that our community was both safe and supported. Federation enlisted volunteers to deliver meals and located PPE to guarantee anyone in need had the supplies to keep themselves safe. With support from our community we have provided over 150 free meals and over $8,000 in food pantry withdrawals to members of our community. Here For Good means you are helping us take care of our seniors, and create new initiatives that will live on even after we’re back together again.
Here for Community
When most were closing their doors we looked outward to see how we could assist other organizations in our community. The Jewish Federation supported educational programs to prepare students to go back to the classroom, whole, focused and ready to learn. Through programs like PJ Library and the CRC’s project called “Books for Kids”, the Jewish Federation was able to provide over 1,100 books to local children. Here For Good means you are helping children get a leg up on the new school year.
Here for Connection
Programming and work with our community’s young leaders has been key to connecting teens and younger adults to Israel, Judaism, Jewish culture, and one another in innovative ways. We have forged new ways to connect the young adults and future leadership of our community in a way that brings new blood and innovative ideas to our organization.
Here for Jewish Futures
The foundation of good that begins with our youngest children, stays with them as they mature. Allowing the next generation to find ways to connect to their Jewish identity in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them. It’s reaffirming to know that despite the challenges, our traditions and legacies are stronger than anything that can keep us apart.
