Stories bring us together
We don't need to tell you that reading to your children is important. Study after study has shown it impacts a child’s development. Even the mere presence of books in a home increases the level of education they can reach.
But finding the right books and making the time to read as a family can be hard. That’s where PJ Library comes in.
PJ Library sends free Jewish children's books to families across the world every month. We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children. PJ Library shares Jewish stories that can help your family talk together about values and traditions that are important to you.
Through a partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the PJ Library program helps to create strong Jewish ties by fostering children’s curiosity about their Jewish heritage and identity. Jewish families with children ages 6 months to 8 years, and the PJ Our Way is available for children ages 9 through 11 receive a high-quality Jewish children’s book sent to their home every month. Regardless of your level of observance or affiliation, the gift of stories and songs is sure to enrich your entire family’s Jewish journey.
PJ Library's Mitzvah Makers - Crafts for Kids of All Ages
PJ Library returns Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 PM with a new program called Mitzvah Makers, which will task our kids with creating a vision board for the new year, full of the many mitzvahs and goals they hope to achieve in 2025.
