Last semester we learned the origin story and began to understand how the Jewish people developed and how they dealt with the impact of world happenings. This course will continue our journey through Jewish history, beginning around the year 1000 C.E. G-d willing, we will finish with modern day Israel. Suggested text- Idiot's Guide to Jewish History.
