English B’Yachad (EBY), the flagship program of Skilled Volunteers for Israel, works with older adult volunteers located primarily in the US. Volunteering from home, EBY tutors help improve the English fluency of young adults from Israel’s less-advantaged communities to increase the likeliness of their success in the job market.

The Jewish Federation's Community Relations Committee will host Marla Gamoran, Founder and Executive Director of Skilled Volunteers for Israel, who will share powerful examples of English B'Yachad's impact on the lives of Israelis, and how members of our local Jewish community can volunteer from home
