Deena Abraham

Deena Abraham is a South Bend native who has been teaching for over 30 years, mostly at the middle school level. Her grandmother, Sherry Moses, was a Holocaust survivor who was imprisoned in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Deena is passionate about Holocaust education. She shares her grandmother’s story to teach about the horrors of the Holocaust, the danger of hatred, as well as what it means to survive a horrific ordeal like the Holocaust.
