The Speaker's Bureau is now offering
both in-person and virtual events!
The Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, in collaboration with Temple Beth-El’s Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance, is offering a Holocaust Education Speaker’s Bureau featuring members of our local community. The purpose of this project is to supplement Holocaust education in our local schools by providing educators with these engaging speakers.
According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum website, "The Holocaust was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its allies and collaborators." We believe that our speakers can help students to make meaningful connections to their study of the Holocaust and help them draw important universal lessons that will make the study of this human tragedy relevant for today.
